The assisted animal traction system is designed to prevent fatigue in draft horses used for agricultural work,keeping them below their exertion threshold.

The developed device provides traction assistance to the animal by integrating the traction effort with an motore elettrico electric motor whose action is regulated through the use of appropriate sensors,thus keeping the animal constantly below the exertion threshold and avoiding fatigue.

Other assisted animal traction systems already existed before, but they had a series of shortcomings that compromised their optimal functionality.

Unlike the assisted traction systems already available on the market, the animal-assisted traction system developed by Syde for Tecnovite uses a series of sensors that detect the movement of the horse and define the type of motion assistance. These sensors help to lighten the load on the draft animal in all operating conditions,whether it is, for example, going downhill or uphill, moving forward or backward, or working on particularly uneven terrain (as is typical for agricultural land).

The assisted traction system developed by Syde for Tecnovite therefore automatically adjusts the contribution provided by the electric motor according to the different operating conditions that the vehicle must face, so as never to tire the draft animal, also converting the electric motor into a generator function to recharge the batteries.

Furthermore, by automatically regulating the movement speed it not only keeps the draft animal below the exertion threshold but also allows agricultural work to be carried out optimally..

Can it be used only with horses?

Although so far it has only been used with horses, the assisted traction system can be suitable for a wide variety of situations and work circumstances,not necessarily in the agricultural field and not necessarily with horses.
